Eden Prime is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
In the early days of the Great Breakout, a few frigates used during the Tzenkethi War were re-purposed to serve as explorer vessels. One of these frigates was the SS Exeter, who was known for first discovering the planet Eden Prime. The rich soil and its vast mineral wealth made it ideal for colonization.
The colony ship SS Mayflower was sent to colonize the planet. Originally colonized to serve as an agricultural base, Eden Prime later began serving as a trade port between various powers. This new industry led to Eden Prime becoming among the most culturally influential and economically indispensable colonies in the Terran Federation. The planet is also home to its own baseball, basketball and football leagues
Following the Scoodian War, Eden Prime saw an influx in population with the coming of many refugees.
