The Nihydron are a humanoid species and allies of the Terran Federation.
Twenty one years earlier, the star in their home system went supernova, which ended in the destruction of their homeworld of Nihydro II. Discussions between major colonies ended in the colony of New Nihydro becoming the new capital planet of the Republic and several reforms were made in their society.
